The original pattern was created by artist Patricia Moreno from the Punta Chueca Region in the Sonoran desert. The sales of these pieces goes to supporting the time tested tradition of Comcaac woven baskets and plates, made from the natural fibers of the Torote Prieto tree, (Bursera Laxiflora).
