We Made it Here, an exhibition of works by Liz Squillace and Ruben Marroquin will be on display at @previewartspace: 800 Union Ave. Bridgeport, CT Opening Friday Nov. 6 through Art Trail weekend. Having just finished PREview’s inaugural Summer Artist Residency, we are ready to share the work we made here, pieces that capture the energy of studio creation and artistic exchange. Squillace explores industrial interiors and natural landscapes through paint and textiles, while Marroquin presents signature abstract wall sculptures in fiber.

We are proud to share the work we made here with William Kent’s beautiful prints and slates, and grateful to Margaret Bodell for having us in residence.

For the past four years, I’ve been practicing regularly at Kala Yoga, a wonderful studio where I’ve found community and developed a passion for this profound discipline. I also recently completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the studio, an experience that further deepened my understanding and connection to the practice.

Ruben Marroquin is currently a weaving instructor at Yale University.
