Visit us during the Bridgeport Art Trail weekend Thursday November 5th through Sunday the 8th from noon to 7:00 PM.
We Made it Here, an exhibition of works by Liz Squillace and Ruben Marroquin will be on display at @previewartspace: 800 Union Ave. Bridgeport, CT 2nd Floor. Opening Friday Nov. 6 through Art Trail weekend. Having just finished PREview’s inaugural Summer Artist Residency, we are ready to share the work we made here. Pieces that capture the energy of studio creation and artistic exchange. Squillace explores industrial interiors and natural landscapes through paint and textiles, while Marroquin presents signature abstract wall sculptures in fiber.
Slates and Prints by William Kent will also be on exhibition. Kent was an innovator in printmaking, hand-carving slates and using them as a printing press for paper and fabric.
We are proud to share the work we made here with William Kent’s beautiful work, and grateful to Margaret Bodell for having us in residence.
